Exploring the environmental impact of our lifestyles in view of creating a sustainable world for our children. We invite you to participate in four nights of reflection on one of the most critical issues of our time. Each night we will explore our topics with short talks, videos and group discussions. Pope Francis’ Letter Laudato Si will inform our reflections as we make this Lenten journey together. Monday March 6th – The Environmental Story today, Monday March 13th – The Social Consequences of our Choices, Monday March 20th – An Integral and Sustainable Ecology, Monday March 27th – Committing to a better future. Talks will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8pm on each Monday with facilitators, Enda Mullen CHF, DCO, Oliver Crotty P.P., Michael Rodgers SPS, Margaret Pendergast RSM, Breda Ahearn CP, and Pat Murphy SPS.
Outdoor Wellness Workshop
On the 26th of February from 10am to 4pm an Outdoor Wellness Workshop will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre. Basket-Making and Willow-Weaving Traditional Basket-making Workshop
This full day traditional basket-making workshop will teach you basic basketry techniques. Taught in a relaxed learning environment and you will be bringing home your own completed handmade small round willow basket (a skib). The workshops will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre (9 am to 5 pm). Available dates are, 25th March and 22nd April. Garden Weaving Workshop
This is a full day weaving workshop where participants will learn to create a range of small willow projects for their garden and home in the Brockagh Centre on 1st of April from 9am to 5pm. The workshop will be relaxed and enjoyable with a focus on learning to weave willow forms and structures suitable for use in vegetable gardens, flower beds and homes. March Car Boot Notice
To all our customers and stallholders, our Brockagh Centre March Car Boot will be on Sunday March 12th instead of our usual first Sunday (for this month only). We have even more homemade baking delights for 2017 with our usual array of great value items. Vans must be booked in. We Love Art

Elevation Drama School
Drama classes are a fantastic way of developing confidence and encouraging creativity and imagination. Drama modules will incorporate improvisation, mime, script work, vocal training and acting skills.

Pilates at the Brockagh Centre
Pilates are on Monday mornings, helping people get off to a good start for the week. Duration of the class is seven weeks and will start at 9.15 to 10.15am, with another class from 10.30 to 11.30am. Marie Noonan is a qualified Pilate’s teacher and has been teaching for the last 17 years and works full time as a movement therapist for rehabilitation, health and longevity.
