Picnic areas are provided at the Upper Lake in Glendalough. Please take all litter home with you, and follow the principles of Leave No Trace.
For safety and environmental reasons, fires and solid fuel barbecues are not permitted in the National Park. Gas barbecues, however, are permitted.
Note: Special events and large groups will require a permit.
