As a follow up to the training last November, we are having refresher training on the 15 May 2018 at 7:30 pm. The exact location of where the training will take place is to be finalised. In the meantime. Save the date. The Community defibrillator has been installed outside McCoys. Many thanks to Denis Carter for pulling the fundraising event together to cover the cost of the defibrillator and installation in the special container. The excess money raised has been used to replace the batteries in the existing defibrillator which cost €54 per set and also the CPR pads that are required in emergency. These have just expired and cost €141 per set. Many thanks also to Willie and Diane for their continued support for storing the bag when not with one of the CFR volunteers and also for allowing the community defibrillator be installed on the shop wall. The Laragh group has been in operation for over 12 years and have had many call-outs during this time. We are always looking for more volunteers so please come along to the training on 15 May 2018 at 7:30 pm.
