Sustainable Energy Community
Laragh Glendalough Sustainable Energy Action’s (LGSEA) Energy Master Plan (EMP) funding application has now been reviewed by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. The application scored very highly and has been recommended for approval for funding. It is now winding its way through the approval process after which a Letter of Offer should be issued. Wicklow Co. Co., with whom LGSEA has partnered, now has a consultant on board for the next 18 months for all Wicklow-based EMPs. This will provide an opportunity to carry out feasibility studies to examine various options to help us reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
