Laragh Glendalough Tidy Towns
This month, we are delighted to say we were given €250 at the Pure Mile Awards, held in the Brooklodge Hotel, for keeping litter free. We extend an open invite for new members to come along to our Tidy Towns meeting on the 12th of November at 7.30pm in the Brockagh Resource Centre. You may have an interest in community involvement, the environment, landscaping, wildlife habitats, or litter control. Glendalough Country Market & Car Boot Sales
Held on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Encouraging local and non-local producers of plants, vegetables, crafts etc. Our next event will be on Sun, 10th of Nov, open from 10am to 4pm. Bargains on practically anything from household items to garden additions, and even vintage or antique treasures. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early. Walking group in the Brockagh
On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour.
Citizen’s Information Clinic
The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.
Curvy Whirlies Fitness Class
Sunshine Fitness is proud to announce that our ‘Curvy Whirlies’ plus-sized ladies class is coming to the Brockagh Centre in Laragh this November 6th. This low-impact and fun exercise class will focus on strength building using a mixture of gentle movement, weights and stretching. No skinny-minnies allowed! Mindfulness & Craft Workshop
Make your own Christmas cards, gift tags, gift bags & handmade presents while learning

Active Retirement
The group meets every Tuesday morning at 11am in the Brockagh Centre and for lunch once a month at various local venues (new members welcome). Their next monthly lunch will be in Lynhams on the 12th Nov. Our Christmas Tea Dance is on Sunday 17th November from 3 – 6pm, music is by the Wicklow Man. We are looking for prizes for our raffle so if anyone has any unwanted gifts that they would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated. Annual Christmas shopping trip, Wed 20th Nov. also the Christmas party is on Tues 10th Dec in Co. Meath. There are a limited number of places left, call Denise 0404 45600 asap for further info. Our Christmas lunch will be in the Wicklow Heather on 17th Dec. We are currently organizing our breakaway for next year, further details to follow.
