The centre has been closed while we are currently in Level 5 restrictions. If you wish to contact us email at brockaghresourcecentre@gmail.com or phone us on 0404 45600 (leave a message if no one is in the office and we will get back to you).

Active Retirement

We would like to wish all our clients a happy new year and in particular our Active Retired, Tuesday morning group, who we have not seen for most of 2020 but instead have remained in contact with group members via phone calls.

Mary Byrne Local Guide

Congratulations to our local tour guide Mary, who was featured in a recent Bray People article, titled ‘Mary’s guide to the saints at Glendalough’. We wish you every success for the future. You can contact Mary for a unique personal Glendalough tour from a woman who grew up in the area and can provide intimate, historical knowledge. Mary is a fully qualified tour guide as recognised by the Association of Irish Tour Guides(ATGI). Email Marytourbyrne@gmail.com or phone 087 193 1992.

Laragh and Glendalough Tidy Towns

The group would like to wish you all a very happy new year and hopefully this year will see everyone safe and well.

Meetings have not been going ahead this year for obvious reasons but we would ask residents to keep the area rubbish free.

Spring will be a very welcome occurrence this year. There are things we can do during the winter months, such as making your garden wildlife friendly by feeding the birds, research for spring planting, taking care of your tools and cleaning patios or decks.
