Funding for Trails Announced
County Wicklow’s growing trail networks are to receive a funding allocation of €158,247 under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
Brockagh Forest (close to Laragh) – Upgrade of mountain access route through Brockagh Forest to provide access to open hillside at Brockagh Mountain, Mall Hill and Tonelagee €18,000.

General Manager (full time position)
The Board of the Glendalough And District Development Association are seeking a General Manager with the responsibility to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the management of the Brockagh Resource Centre
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain the Community Service Programme administrated by Pobal also to develop new and existing business strands and to promote and market the available facilities and generate income.
To achieve set targets agreed with the Board of Management.
To manage and coordinate employees.
To support the training and development of employees.
To ensure all sectors of the community are facilitated by activities at the Centre.
To manage finances and present financial reports to the Board of the Glendalough and District Development Association.
To support activities of the centre relating to business development.

Operation Transformation Virtual 5K
In previous years, the Operation Transformation 5K was the show’s final showcase event. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, it’s not possible to host this event in its usual format. This year the Operation Transformation 5K, in association with Athletics Ireland, will be held virtually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the 18th 19th and 20th of February.
