Elevation Cheer and Acro Summer Camp
We are holding our annual summer camp in the Brockagh Resource Centre Laragh for children aged 4+. Our camps are for those who love to dance and learn new skills! Camps will consist of tumbling, stunts, Cheer & Pom, Acro dance and of course lots of fun! Laragh 15th – 19th July Primary/Level 1 at 10am to 1pm and Level 2+ on from 10am – 2pm. Glendalough Heritage Forum
Just finishing the first of two weeks of Glendalough Heritage Forum community post-excavation 2024. Last week was at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Sorting samples and checking artefacts. Many thanks to The Heritage Council, Wicklow County Council and UCD School of Archaeology for support and Brockagh Resource Centre for hosting!
We also hosted a visit from 66 children from St Kevin’s National School, which was great fun! Thanks to all of our volunteers for their time last week – great progress made on some key post excavation tasks. looking forward to one more week in the UCD labs in July.
Pilates Classes in Laragh
Pilates strengthens core muscles, improves muscle control, flexibility, strength and tone, as well as alignment and breathing. Zara Elkinson has trained and qualified through the STOTT Pilates Method of Movement. This method combines modern theories of exercise science with spinal rehabilitation, which gives a safe and effective exercise that sees results and is accessible to all. Zumba Class
