Come along to our Easter Market/Carboot in Laragh(A98 D3H1)!! The kids will love our easter egg hunt at 2pm!  All sorts of bargains and from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, skincare products, candles, art, tools, household items etc.  You might be a keen bargain hunter or enjoy browsing for affordable gifts. Open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available. Our tasty Hot Dog and Burger is an affordable treat for the family lunch and for dessert and why not try a delicious homemade treat from our regular baker!! 

The barrier will be locked from 6pm Saturday evening until 8am Sunday morning. You can contact us by phone 0404 45600 (Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm) or email brockaghoffice@gmail.com. Easter Raffle for Breast Cancer Research

Win a Hyundai i20 and support Breast Cancer Research. The draw takes place Tuesday 22nd of April 2025. Tickets are 1 for €10, 3 for €25 and 7 for €50. Tickets can be purchased at www.easterraffle.ie.

 

Knock Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage to knock on the 21st September 2025. Leaving the Memorial park, Rathdrum at 7.3oam sharp via Grand Hotel Wicklow at 8am. Price per person is €80 this will include bus, breakfast and dinner. Names and payment before the 1st of June 2025. Contact Susan at 087 627 3032.

AA Meetings  (Ongoing)

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night. All are welcome to come along.

Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around the Glendalough area for approximately one hour. This is a great way to meet and chat with others and with no fee involved. No need to book, just show up on the day.

The Glendalough District Development Association Ltd is pleased to announce the

upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on the 10th of April at 8:30

  1. The meeting will be held at the Brockagh Resource Centre, a central hub for community

activities and events. We warmly welcome all members of the community to attend this

important event.

Call for Nominations

One of the key aspects of the AGM is the election of new Board Members. We encourage

new nominations and are particularly interested in individuals who are passionate about

community development and have skills or experience that can contribute to the success of

the association. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for a position on

the Board, please submit your nomination in advance of the meeting.

Engaging the Community

The AGM is not only a time for formal proceedings but also an opportunity to engage with

the wider community. We believe that the strength of our association lies in the active

participation and support of local residents. By attending the AGM, you can voice your

opinions, share your ideas, and help shape the future of the Glendalough District

Development Association Ltd.
