Glendalough Visitor Centre
Glendalough is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland. This early Christian monastic settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century and from this developed the “Monastic City”. To book a tour of the Monastic Site – contact the Visitor Centre on +353 (0) 404 45325/45352.

Notice
The Visitor Centre is fully accessible for visitors with disabilities. Access to the graveyard is very difficult for wheelchair users.
Toilets close at 16:15 from mid October to Mid March.
The toilets at the Upper Lake Car park (second car park ) are operated by Wicklow County Council and are not under the remit of the OPW.
