Glendalough Hermitage Centre continues to offer prayer, hospitality and spiritual accompaniment to an ever-growing number of pilgrims. Our retreatants come from all over the world and from all walks of life. The sacredness of this place affords them an opportunity to commune with nature and to come away and rest awhile.
The Hermitage Team is also involved in leading adult and school pilgrimages in the Monastic Site. These groups come mainly from the Dublin, Ferns and Kildare and Leighlin dioceses. Due to the increase in requests for retreat days, we have had to engage the assistance of some local people. We wish to thank very sincerely Eileen Patterson and Lin Ryan, who give so generously of their time.
The Confirmation children from Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa come monthly for a meditation session in our prayer room. We pray that they and their families will be greatly blessed this year.
