Christmas Gift Fair

Our Christmas Gift Fair this year at the Brockagh Centre will be held on Saturday and Sunday 6 and 7 December.  Santa will be making his usual trip to the Centre and will be here from 1 to 3 p.m both days arriving at 1 p.m. on Saturday by horse and carriage.   There will be lots of hand-made and unique Christmas gifts for you to choose from (some costing as little as €5).  You will find home baking, jams and chutneys, Christmas puddings, jewellery, hand-knits,  candles, Christmas wreaths, glass and pottery, plants and much, much more.  This fair is usually booked-out very quickly so please call as soon as possible to secure your place.  Phone Michelle on 0404-45600 for further information or email laraghit@eircom.net

 

Community Christmas Tree Lighting Event

This year’s event will take place on Sunday 7 of December at 5.30 p.m on the Green in front of Lynhams. We encourage everyone to dress up or even wear their Christmas jumpers.

Laragh Glendalough Active Retirement

Our Christmas Lunch will take place on Tuesday 16 December at 12.45pm in the Glendalough Hotel (this will also be our monthly lunch).  All welcome but please let us know if you are joining us.

 

Bootcamp

Bootcamp continues  with Paul on Monday nights 8.15 p.m. in the Brockagh Centre.

Resource Centre.Cancer Support

Rathdrum Cancer Support are hosting a Christmas craft fair on Saturday 13 of December in the market square in Rathdrum. (If the weather is bad it will be indoors) form 11a.m. – 3 p.m.  – Stalls €10.00 each with all proceeds going to Rathdrum Cancer Support. Rathdrum cancer support will be there on the day with refreshments and selling our Christmas cards and our Rathdrum Cancer Support homemade Christmas candles! Citizen’s Information

The Citizen’s Information Centre at the Brockagh Centre is open on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. The next dates are Tuesday 2 and 16 December from 10am until 12 noon for information relating to your rights and entitlements.  The next date in January is Tuesday 6 January. No appointment necessary.  This is a free and confidential service.

Zumba

Zumba with Adam on  Wednesday evenings at the Brockagh Centre from 7 to 8 p.m.  All welcome – have lots of fun while getting fit.  Call (0404) 45600

 

Wicklow Man

The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre from 9.30 p.m.

 

Handball 4 Kids

There is handball training for 5-8 year old boys and girls on Wednesday evenings from 6.30-7.15p.m. in the Annamoe Community Centre. For more information drop in on the evening or contact Oliver Donelon on 087 9040535. Training for adults continues on Thursday nights at 8 p.m..

 

AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.  If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.
