Car Boot Sale
The next Car Boot Sale will take place on Sunday 5 July. Always great new and nearly new clothes and accessories, food items and much more. Vans must be booked in. Yoga
YogaTree Yoga with Viva is back in the Brockagh Centre every Thursday from 7-8.30 p.m. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities. Yoga can restore vital energy and leave one feeling calm, yet at the same time strong. One can take up Yoga at any age. Anyone from cool teenagers to active seniors benefit. Well Done
Congratulations to Sylvia Collins from Rathdrum who stole the show at our recent sing-along workshop in the Brockagh Centre. Sylvia was presented with her Equal Skills Certificate in introductory IT and Internet Skills and received a standing ovation from the 80 people in attendance.
Nature Explorers
Nature Explorers is a new outdoor programme in the National Park which aims to teach children (aged 5 to 11 years) to identify and appreciate the natural world. Meet at the large National Park sign in the corner of the Upper Lake car park on Thursdays during July and August, starting at 2 p.m. Most activities will take place off track, so please dress accordingly. Adults and children are welcome. Note that an adult must stay with the children, and be prepared to help! No dogs are allowed. Booking is essential and will be taken from 9 am one week prior to each session on 0404-45656 (Monday to Friday). All above events are free to attend but the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow Co. Co.) has a €4 charge.
Summer Camp at Wonder Years
Wonder Years Childcare at the Brockagh Centre is holding weekly fun camps during the months of July & August. Camp Times are from 9.30am-12.30pm (extended hours available). Only 70 euro per week. Bring your own snack. Your child’s Summer experience begins in a creative environment of excitement and fun – building friendships and self-confidence. A fun filled Summer Programme for campers 5-12 years old. Children aged 2-4 years are welcome to join our year round pre-montessori class. Tae Kwan Do Summer Camps
Our Summer Camp is back again at the Brockagh Centre and are even more jam packed with activities than last year! Our Camp will have a mixture of all our classes, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and weapons. Each camp is open to all ages 6 years and over and pre booking is essential. The campwill take place from Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July from 9 a.m. until 1.p.m. Cost is 65 euro. Please email info@hma.ie or call/text 087-2484570 to book your child’s place. AA Meetings
Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night. If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.
