Good Friday dramatisation of Christ’s last journey
On Good Friday, in the tranquil setting of St. Kevin’s Church, Laragh – local parishioners, accompanied by music from St. Kevin’s choir, will bring to life, through drama, the story of Christ’s last journey. During the evening, we will be encouraged to commemorate His life and reflect on how His message influences our own lives and the world around us. The event will take place at 7:00pm, 25th March, St. Kevin’s Church, Laragh, Co. Wicklow.
Spring Outdoors With A Purpose It was great to see new faces at the Laragh/ Glendalough Community Garden meeting last week. Funding has been secured for fruit trees to be planted in the village/community garden. It is hoped to embellish the entrance of the garden so its location is apparent to visitors. There is a polytunnel, shelter, an acre of land for growth so we encourage people to get involved while benefiting from fresh tomatoes, vegetables, fruit and potato yields. For further information call the Brockagh Centre.

We are hoping to start up a men’s shed. A Men’s Shed is a dedicated, friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together and undertake a variety of mutually agreed activities. These sheds are open to all men regardless of age, background or ability. It is a place where you can share your skills and knowledge with others, learn new skills and develop your old skills. If you are interested in getting involved contact Pauline on 0404-45600.
