Taekwon-Do for Older Children and Adults

Older children and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentration, channeling aggression, balance, coordination, speed, reactions, fitness and health. Go For Life

Go for Life active retirement group are enjoying a return to the  Brockagh Centre on Tuesday morning starting at 11am.  So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa and some light exercise come along on Tuesday next.  For further information call the Brockagh Centre on (0404) 45600 or drop in any Tuesday at 11am.

Tai Chi and QiGongClasses

Tai Chi and QiGong are very powerful tools which help to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. There will be classes starting soon in Brockagh Resource Centre depending on the level of interest. If you are interested in joining the class call 0404 45600 to register your interest. Happy Days

Happy Days has started and is from 10.30 to 12.00 weekly. We would like to invite people with babies and young child to come for a social morning with their children for some play, chat and of course light refreshments. Contact Sandra 0404-45600at the centre for more information.

Tea Dance

On the 27th of November there will be a tea dance at the Brockagh Resource Centre from 3pm to 6pm with music by The Wicklow Man. Pre-Christmas fun before the a busy December kicks in, a spacious hall where you can dance away the afternoon, brightening the winter months with old and new friends. Groups from any area are very welcome, large or small just call on 0404 45600 to book for groups.

We Love Art

Art and crafts classes for kids, are back on Monday afternoons at the Brockagh Centre from Sept. 12th. Classes cover a wide range of art and craft forms. We work with lots of different materials and learn new skills and techniques with every project. It’s all about the joy of making! Please note new times for 2016/17 are age 4-6 (JI&SI) 1.45 – 2.30, age 7-9 (1st to 3rd class) 2.40 – 3.40, age 10-12 (4th to 6th class) 3.45 – 4.45. Citizens Information Centre Increased Service

C.I.C have now an office in the Brockagh Resource Centre on the first and third Tuesday  of each month from 10-12 providing valuable personal advice relating to your rights and entitlements on a large range of matters. Walking in the Lightness of Being

The advanced teachings of the Lenmurian Mystery School use ancient wisdom to transform our lives and the lives of all. In this year of 2016 we are being challenged on many levels: socially, economically, emotionally and spiritually. The workshop is on Sat, Oct 22nd from 9.30 to 18:00 in the Brockagh Centre and it was born out of the need to address these issues that arise from these challenges. Healthcare Training                                                                                               Level 5 in Healthcare Support Major Award(5M4339) Nursing Studies(5M44349) will commence in October at the Brockagh Resource Centre. Mindful Athletic Performance                                                                                 This course is for athletes who would like to get more from their sports performance, be more present and in the moment when training or competing, learn to modify their behaviour with awareness, overcome negative beliefs or thoughts that are holding your performance back, would like to achieve and realize their goals. Drama & Dance

Classes will be back on wed 28th September to the Brockagh Resource Centre. Support workshop for parents

The workshop starting in early October at the Brockagh Centre is about how to best support yourself and your child if he/she is diagnosed with a learning disability, developmental or behavioral disorder.
