Recent Excavations in Glendalough

At 7 pm on Friday 23rd February, the UCD School of Archaeology will present the results of the 2017 excavations at Glendalough. Organised by the Glendalough Heritage Forum, this public lecture will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Mindcraft Workshop

Wicklow Willow Courses 2018

Scarecrow Building Workshop: this workshop is for those of you who are interested in decorating your garden come the Spring with a beautiful willow scarecrow, duration one and half days on March 24th and 25th. Start Your Own Business Course

This is an essential course for anyone thinking of starting their own business. The objective of the Start Your Own Business Programme is to assist participants in assessing the viability of business ideas and in understanding the essential elements required to start up and run their own business. This is an evening course that runs over 10 wks delivered by experienced trainers who run their own business. An additional benefit of this course is the peer support participants will get by being in a group of likeminded individuals. Starting on 3rd of May, 2018, 7-10pm once a week. Irish Dancing Classes

Irish Dancing on Saturday mornings from  9am-10am. Glendalough Car Boot Sales 2018

Our first  Car Boot of the year is  on Sun 4th of March and then each first Sunday after until November 2018. Great value on, homebaking, clothes and accessories, books, candles, presents and much more. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early. Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. All ages and abilities are welcome. Morning Yoga with Louise

Louise’s yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 am. This is a gently-paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilizing the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle. The class begins with general and targeted warm-up sequences followed by postures (Asanas) and Vinyasa (breath-connected) sequences before final relaxation in Savasana. Chair Yoga                                                                                                                                 

Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 am to 12.45 pm. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life. The class takes students through centering and breath-work, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement whilst seated or through use of the chair whilst standing. High Intensity Fitness Dane (H.I.F.D)                                  

 Join the fun on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre to dance your socks off with Adam in cardio exercise dancing. You do not need to be a good dancer or very fit, dance at your own pace and enjoy the music. You can contact Adam on 083 3057949 for information.
