Ronald McDonald House will be doing their annual cycle on Saturday 28th of April at Avon Rí Lakeshore Resort, Blessington. There will be a 100km through the Sally Gap and Wicklow Gap, 50km twice around the Blessington Lakes and 25km cycle once around Blessington Lakes. Registration at 9am with starting time at 10am.  Co. Wicklow Older Person Council AGM

The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Fri 25th of May. The AGM will be followed by a Tea Dance in the afternoon.

 Mindfulness Through Creativity Workshop

Would you like to try your hand at some different crafts in a beautiful, relaxed setting? Not only is it lots of fun but it’s good for your health too. Get crafty, distress by joining us on Saturday April 21st, from 10am to 4pm at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. All materials supplied with cost, including tea, coffee and light lunch.  Blessing of the Graves.

Will be held in Glendalough on Saturday, 12th of May at 8pm. (In the event of inclement weather prayers will be said in St. Kevin’s Church immediately after the 7pm mass approx 7.45pm). Brockagh Blessing of the Graves will be on Saturday, 19th of May after 7pm mass.

East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning

East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh (free car parking available) on Friday, 20th April from 10am-12pm in aid of Wicklow Cancer Support Services and The Wicklow Hospice. A very worthy cause, which has touched many families in some way. Enjoy delicious treats and chat with some friendly faces while being entertained by the wonderful Denise Brennan and Michael Flood. We will be reporting LIVE on East Coast FM and there will be a raffle on the morning with some fantastic prizes up for grabs!  Scrap Metal Day

Clean up your home or Farmyard for free on Sat 14th of April from 9 – 4pm. To view the kind of scrap acceptable, go to Brockagh Resource Centre Facebook page or our website at http://www.brockaghresourcecentre.ie/events-and-timetables/. This is a fundraiser in aid of the Brockagh Resource Centre(0404 45600 or brockaghresourcecentre@gmail.com). Unfortunately we cannot accept washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cookers, fridges or freezers.

 Part-time Maintenance Person

St. Kevin’s Parish has a vacancy for a temporary, part-time maintenance person. The applicant must be in receipt of an appropriate social welfare (DEASP) payment to qualify for the Community Employment scheme. Maintenance Person/Car Park Attendant

The Brockagh Resource Centre wishes to recruit a part-time maintenance person/car park attendant. Applications must be received by noon on Friday 23rd March. Applicants must be eligible for the Community Services Programme (eligibility is confined to those in receipt of certain DEASP payments, Contact the manager, Pauline Fahy, on 0404- 45600 for further information.

Go For Life                                                                              

The group is taking an Easter break from April 3rd and are back on April 10th with exercise in the Brockagh and their monthly lunch in the Glendalough Hotel after. So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa and some light exercise, bowls, music come along on Tuesdays at 11am. The group meet for lunch once a month at various venues. Happy Days

Happy Days are taking an Easter break on the 28th and 4th of April and will be back on 11th of April. Happy Days baby and toddler drop in group is every Wednesday morning 10.30 -12pm at the Brockagh Centre(break in July and Aug). Come for a social morning with Crafts, Messy Play, Music and Activities such as teddy bears picnic, sing along song/storytime  and of course light refreshments are provided. Tae kwon-Do for Youths and Adults                                                                                     

Teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentration, channeling aggression, balance, coordination, speed, reactions, fitness and health. Call Master Kenneth Wheatley on 087-2547347 for further information. Classes are on Tuesdays at 7.45-8.45pm (Seniors & Teens).
