County Wicklow Older Person’s AGM

Join us for the County Wicklow Older Person’s Council AGM, taking place on the 31st May in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Registration followed by tea and coffee from 9.45 to 10.30am. Opening from Chairperson Mai Quaid with guess speakers are Minister Andrew Doyle, Patricia Rikkard-Clarke. Lunch and a raffle, continuing in the afternoon with music by Liam Garrett performing at the tea dance.  No admission fee. 

Summer Festival

We are delighted to host this year’s Summer festival for older people on the 25th of June at the Brockagh Resource Centre. Everyone is welcome, if you are interested in attending save the date in your diary. Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour.

Citizen’s Information Clinic

The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.

 

Glendalough Car Boot Sales & Country Market

We have now moved to the 2nd Sunday of the month. Encouraging local and non-local producers of plants, vegetables, crafts etc. Our next event will be on Sun, 9th of June, open from 10am to 4pm. Bargains on practically anything from household items to garden additions, and even vintage or antique treasures. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early.
