Wicklow Mountains National Park

Whether you and your four-legged friend are out for a stroll in the busy Valley of Glendalough, hiking up one of the National Park’s many mountains or wandering through one of Co. Wicklow’s beautiful NPWS Nature Reserves, by keeping your dog on a lead, you are helping to protect wildlife.

The National Park can also be a dangerous place for your dog! Dogs often go missing, with some being injured after falling over cliff edges, injured or killed.

And finally, please always clean up after your dog. As most of the National Park is remote and has no bins, be prepared to carry your full dog poo bags home with you!
