Regular Events/Classes
We are looking forward to our regular classes returning as soon as restrictions are lifted. All classes will be posted on our FB pages and at www.brockaghresourcecentre.ie on return. Clothes Bank
Give your unwanted clothes to the Brockagh Resource Centre clothes bank, located at the back of the building. All proceeds are in aid of the centre’s maintenance. You can also empty your glass and drink cans in the other recycle banks too.
Tree Identification Walk
Would you like to get to know our native Irish trees? Join us for our Tree Identification Walk Friday 11-11.45am on 17th & Saturday 18th of September. Guided gentle walk in Glendalough, to learn how to identify some of our native trees and find out about their folklore and propagation. Active Retirement
Laragh/Glendalough Active Retirement Group were sad to hear of the sudden passing of Fr. Crotty, we would like to express our sincere condolences to Fr. Crotty’s family. He was a member of our group and regularly attended our weekly meetings and monthly lunches prior to Covid. He will be greatly missed by us all and the community.
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday morning 28th September for Tea/Coffee, light exercise and a catch up from 10.45am – 12pm at the Brockagh Centre. We will hopefully be back to normal during the month of October and be able to resume our weekly meetings. We always welcome new members to join our group. If anyone would like to offer their services or share their skills with the group please contact the centre. Walking group in the Brockagh
On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around the Glendalough area for approximately one hour.
