Laragh Glendalough Notes Week Beg 12th Dec 2022

Laragh Glendalough Tidy Towns

New Heritage Trail for Laragh

Following positive feedback from our survey conducted at the Brockagh Christmas Market, Tidy Towns would like to proceed with putting together a Laragh Heritage Trail. We have secured a place on the Heritage Keepers program to assist with this.

We would like to get 3-4 representatives of Laragh’s long-established families, with an interest and knowledge of local history in the area, to come on board the panel.

Which individuals from these multi-generation families do you think would best represent Laragh’s history? If you can help contact us at laraghglendaloughtt@gmail.com.

Christmas Carol Evening

‘Pause for a while in the week before Christmas, and come and join our Celebration of Old and New Christmas Carols on Tuesday 20th December in St Kevin’s Church at 8pm.

A time to share our tradition of bringing in the feast of Christmas with song.

A time to remember old friends and make new ones, with a cuppa and mince pies afterwards.

We look forward to seeing you there, the St. Kevin’s Choir.
