Laragh & Glendalough Tidy Towns
Tidy Towns is holding a big community clean up on Wed 12th July at 7pm. We are hoping to see a big turnout that evening. All ages are welcome to join us but please guardians/parents accompany children attending.
Mobile Library
A mobile comes to Laragh every second Thursday from 12.15 to 12.50pm and parks at the back of Lynhams Hotel. Phone on 087 9135229 or email library@wicklowcoco.ie.
For people who have difficulty accessing their nearest public library, the Mobile Library Service gives them the opportunity to avail of a public library facility. The mobile library carries approximately 2,500 items with free access to many online resources including downloadable audio books, newspapers and more. Next dates are Thurs 14th and 28th of July.
Summer lecture (number 2)
This Thursday 13th of July Collie Ennis will be giving a fantastic talk on the amphibians of Wicklow. Come along to learn about our native frogs and newts, as well as some non-native arrivals.
Collie Ennis is a research associate at Trinity College Dublin and Science Officer with the Herpetological Society of Ireland. We are delighted to have him be part of our summer lecture series for 2023!
On Thursday the 13th of July at 7.30pm. At Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Base Trooperstown, Laragh, A98 VY72. There is ample free parking available at the mountain rescue base. This is a free event organised by Wicklow Mountains National Park.

Brockagh Resource Centre Notes
Our car park will be closed to the public on Thursday 13th July due to a large event.
Clothes Bank & Recycling Service
Give your unwanted clothes to the Brockagh Resource Centre clothes bank, located at the back of the building. All proceeds are in aid of the centre’s maintenance. You can also empty your glass and drink cans in the other recycle banks too.

We have a mixture of Hot Desks, Dedicated (Weekly/Monthly) Desks, Pod and Meeting rooms available with High Speed Broadband Connection. Our shared working space is located in the the heart of county Wicklow with panoramic views of the stunning Glendalough Valley. Free parking, free tea/coffee facilities and lift access. To avail of the discounted rates you must pre-book your desk through brockaghhub@gmail.com only. Daily Rate €15, half day rate €10, weekly rate €60, monthly rate €199.
