Yoga with Louise
Vinyasa Krama Yoga (step-by-step). Classes are starting 14th Sept from 10am to 11.20am in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. The practice will provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life. Louise takes students through Asana, Pranayama and Meditation for a full Yoga practice.

Chair Yoga
Classes are starting 14th Sept from 11.30am to 12.30 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.Chair Yoga is suitable for those who find a regular yoga class too strenuous, are recovering from injury or illness or are generally less active and mobile. Louise’s classes include physical poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation and meditation. There is some standing work which is optional and done next to the chair.

Family Bug Safari
Our bug safaris have always proven hugely popular with both adults and children. Get up close and personnel with beautiful butterflies, ferocious dragonflies, cute little ladybirds, and love ‘em or loath ‘em spiders! Friday 11th, 18th and 25th (for Heritage Week) August between 11am to 12pm at the Information Office, Upper Lake, Glendalough, A98R221.
Adults and children are welcome. Family friendly, although not suitable for buggies. Participants should bring a jar with a lid to help examine the bugs. No dogs. Free of charge. Old Crusher House, Glenmalure
On Saturday 19th August we are delighted to have been invited to join with the Glenmalure Pure Mile Group to contribute to their event at Baravore. In addition to the range of other activities planned by the Group we will lead family friendly citizen science activities followed by a digital display of some of our work to date in Glenmalure and across the Southern part of the Wicklow Mountains.

Pilates Classes in Laragh
Starting back on Sept 11th. Pilates strengthens core muscles, improves muscle control, flexibility, strength and tone, as well as alignment and breathing. Zara Elkinson has trained and qualified through the STOTT Pilates Method of Movement. This method combines modern theories of exercise science with spinal rehabilitation, which gives a safe and effective exercise that sees results and is accessible to all.
