Brockagh Christmas Car Boot
This is our last Carboot for 2023 and we hope you will join the traders to buy your last minute bargains of the year. You will find a variety of items for sale from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, aloe vera products, artwork, tools, household items etc. Open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available.

Bright Stars Baby & Toddler Group
Our baby and toddler group on Wednesday mornings at 10.30am. Moo Music Wicklow will be back by popular demand on 6th December. Each week this group will provide a welcoming and lively space for parents and children to gather and grow. Our activities will include ‘messy play’, story and song, games (guest speakers), snacks, tidy-up and new equipment which will allow both you as the parent/carer and your child to meet friends, explore new things and learn. For some parents, grandparents and carers, the weekly catch-up and opportunity for children to play and make new friends is enough. For others, the support makes them that bit more confident in their parenting role. Cost €4.50 per family. Call us on 0404 45600 if you have any questions about the group.
Laragh & Glendalough Tidy Towns
The SEC group and Tidy Towns enjoyed meeting the public at the Brockagh Resource Centre Christmas Market Sunday, we shared community information, gave people a free Pure Mile Calendar, SEAI tote bag, chocolates and origami Christmas trees made by a few Junior Tidy Towns members.
Thank you to Lynhams Bar for letting us hold our raffle on the 17th at 9pm.
Prizes include: A family day pass to Clara Lara fun park, A Wicklow Heather voucher, Mini Poly tunnel, a bottle of Glendalough Gin, cosmetics, candles, a set of mugs, a glass picture frame, childs bracelet. We hope you can join us there.
Laragh Christmas Lights
Well done to everyone! The parade of illuminated tractors, cars, motorbikes and Santa’s sleigh and snow falling was a sight to see for the community in the centre of Laragh village. The crowd was overjoyed to see the big switch on. An event the children of the area will cherish for a lifetime.
Candle Light Choir Event
Come sing carols by candlelight on Tues 19th December at 8pm in St.Kevin’s Church, Laragh. Refreshments to follow.
Active Retirement Laragh
The group will be ending their 2023 gathering on 12th Dec and returning on February 24th. It has been an eventful year for everyone with weekly activities, workshops, shopping trips, music/dance sessions, lunch date and tea dances. The active retirement group meets every Tuesday morning from 10.45am – 12.15pm in the Brockagh Centre. We always welcome new members to join our group. We would like to encourage anyone who loves arts & crafts to share your skills with other members, come along and join us. Taekwon-Do at Laragh
Laragh Taekwon-Do is running the fantastic ITF Kids Development Program for the 4s to 8s, it covers topics such as physical skills, mind skills, independence skills, nutrition awareness and of course Taekwon-Do Skills. The program also has three extra modules namely Danger Awareness, Stranger Awareness and Bullying Awareness.
We also run the full International Taekwon-Do Federation syllabus including pattern, sparring, power and special technique for our 10s upward and teenagers.
