Roundwood National School is collecting old domestic batteries on the Saturday 13th Jan 2024 between 10am  to 2pm in the school grounds. Type of Batteries AA, AAA, V9, C, D & laptop batteries.

Glendalough Walk With Strangers (Dry January)

Join us for a Sunday morning walk/hike to Glendalough on Sat, 20th Jan from 10:30  to 2pm. This event is open to anyone, come alone or with friends. These events are made to be social and to meet new people. Your host for this event is a very experienced host to make going to events less awkward. You must meet us at the site, no transport is being organized, there is a bus that runs from Dublin.

No experience is necessary, no fancy gear is needed, just come along and meet new people.

Roundwood Variety Group Present Aladdin Panto

Roundwood Variety Group presents Aladdin the panto, an original script by Thomas O’Leary. Join our hero Aladdin and his best friend Bish Bosh who along with his Mammy the Widow Twankey and little sister’s Wishy and Washy are out on a new and exciting Arabian adventure to get rich quick and win the hand of the beautiful Princess Jasmine.

But Aladdin has to watch out as the evil Abanazar wants to get his hands on “The Mystical Lamp of Salsabar” and control Omar the magical all powerful Genie inside. Fun and frolics are guaranteed in this exciting new take on a very popular Panto classic!

Taekwon-Do at Laragh

Laragh Taekwon-Do is running the fantastic ITF Kids Development Program for the 4s to 8s, it covers topics such as physical skills, mind skills, independence skills, nutrition awareness and of course Taekwon-Do Skills.  The program also has three extra modules namely Danger Awareness,  Stranger Awareness and Bullying Awareness.

We also run the full International Taekwon-Do Federation syllabus including pattern, sparring, power and special technique for our 10s upward and teenagers.
