Laragh & Glendalough Active Retirement Group
Our Active Retirement Group meets every Tuesday 10.45am – 12pm at the Brockagh Centre. If you fancy a chat, a cuppa, some light exercise, dancing and music come along on a Tuesday morning. We’d like to encourage anyone who loves arts & crafts or any other hobby, maybe you’ve learned new skills and would like the space to practice and share your skills with other members, come along and join us. We always welcome new members to join our group.
HSE will be giving informative sessions on Preventing Falls and Healthy Eating on 25th February and 4th March. All are welcome.
The committee are busy organising their weekly schedule, trips and workshops for over the coming months. Annamoe Centre-Children’s Kinesiolgy
Children’s Kinesiology Sessions and the Adult/Children Sessions once a month in the centre. An extra Adult/Child session has been added as the parents/guardians are loving the relaxation space. Yoga with Louise
Vinyasa Krama Yoga (step-by-step). Classes are from 10am to 11.20 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.
The practice will provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life. Louise takes students through Asana, Pranayama and Meditation for a full Yoga practice.

Chair Yoga
Classes are from 11.30am to 12.30 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.
Chair Yoga is suitable for those who find a regular yoga class too strenuous, are recovering from injury or illness or are generally less active and mobile. Louise’s classes include physical poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation and meditation. There is some standing work which is optional and done next to the chair.

Laragh Badminton Club
Badminton classes are in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh with Monday evenings: Adults 7.30-9.30pm. Thursdays Evenings: Juniors 4th class beginners 6-7pm, 5-6th class & 1st year secondary school 7-8pm, Teenagers 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year Secondary School Classes 8-9pm. We have Dedicated (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) Desks and Pod with High Speed Broadband Connection. Our Shared Working Space is located in the heart of County Wicklow with panoramic views of the stunning Glendalough Valley.
