Pilgrimage to knock on the 21st September 2025. Leaving the Memorial park, Rathdrum at 7.3oam sharp via Grand Hotel Wicklow at 8am. Price per person is €80 this will include bus, breakfast and dinner. Names and payment before the 1st of June 2025. Contact Susan at 087 627 3032.

Invitation to Annual General Meeting

The Glendalough District Development Association Ltd is pleased to announce the

upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on the 10th of April at 8:30

  1. The meeting will be held at the Brockagh Resource Centre, a central hub for community

activities and events. We warmly welcome all members of the community to attend this

important event.

Call for Nominations

One of the key aspects of the AGM is the election of new Board Members. We encourage

new nominations and are particularly interested in individuals who are passionate about

community development and have skills or experience that can contribute to the success of

the association. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for a position on

the Board, please submit your nomination in advance of the meeting.

Engaging the Community

The AGM is not only a time for formal proceedings but also an opportunity to engage with

the wider community. We believe that the strength of our association lies in the active

participation and support of local residents. By attending the AGM, you can voice your

opinions, share your ideas, and help shape the future of the Glendalough District

Development Association Ltd.

Elevation School of Performing Arts

Classes available at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on  Mondays 4.15 Acro Squad, 5pm Arco L2, 6.30pm Adv Tumbling/Squad Dance. On Wednesdays 2.45pm Tiny Acro/Dance/Mini Acro, 3.30pm Youth Cheer/Dance, 4.30pm Cheer Team: Lucky Stars, 5pm Gr ¾ Mod, 6pm Snr Mod (2hrs), 7pm Zumba(45mins). Saturdays are 9am Technique Team & Squad.

The Wicklow Trails

It’s lambing season – pregnant ewes and newborn lambs are throughout Wicklow.  Our very generous private landowners are imploring you to leave your dogs at home – their livelihoods and the welfare of their livestock are at risk. Please respect the people whose land you recreate on.

Pilates Classes in Laragh

Pilates strengthens core muscles, improves muscle control, flexibility, strength and tone, as well as alignment and breathing. Zara Elkinson has trained and qualified through the STOTT Pilates Method of Movement. This method combines modern theories of exercise science with spinal rehabilitation, which gives a safe and effective exercise that sees results and is accessible to all.
