Laragh Active Retirement Christmas Lunch

This Christmas the staff in the Brockagh Centre & the AR Committee members organised Christmas lunch for all members which was a nice surprise for them. We would like to thank everyone who helped out, offered their time and skills to the group throughout the year.

The active retirement group meets every Tuesday morning from 11am – 12pm in the Brockagh Centre and they have a great lineup of activities each week. So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa and some light exercise, dancing or music, come along on Tuesdays.

The group will be returning in the New Year, we have no date as yet (Weather & Covid permitting). As soon as we know we will contact everyone.

We always welcome new members to join our group. If anyone would like to offer their services or share their skills with the group please contact the centre. For more information call Denise on 0404 45600, email brockaghoffice@gmail.com or drop in to the centre.

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. Hopefully we’ll be back early enough in the New Year, looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones.

Recycling at the Brockagh Resource Centre

Bottle Banks

Please be aware that the Christmas and New Year holidays are busy times for collections. Remember it is a littering offence to leave recycling on the ground by the bottle banks, please come back when they are empty.

Clothes Bank

Give your unwanted clothes to the Brockagh Resource Centre clothes bank, located at the back of the building. All proceeds are in aid of the centre’s maintenance.
