Brockagh Market/Car Boot

The Brockagh Market & Car Boot is on Sunday – 13th of February(on the 2nd sun of each month). Open to the public from 10am to 4pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available to purchase on the day.The barrier will be locked from 6pm Saturday evening until 8am Sunday morning. Social distancing and masks must be worn when using the toilet facilities in accordance with government guidelines.

Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around the Glendalough area for approximately one hour. No need to book, just show up on the day.

Scrap Metal still Ongoing

You can drop your metal scrap up to the back of the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh(Fundraiser for the Brockagh Resource Centre). Some of the items you can bring are Biscuit tins, steel oil tanks, steel window frames, steel coal bunkers, car batteries, radiators, Solid fuel cookers, Sheep wire, bicycles, old cars without the tyres, steel wheel barrows, golf irons, etc. No Fridges, Freezers, Cookers, Timber, Plastics or Tyres. Glendalough Farmers Market

Irish Farmers Markets created the first local Farmers Market in  Ireland at the Brockagh Resource Centre in March 2002 now exactly 20 years later we are back, having created over 150 markets nationwide. This market will have all the elements of the best in Irish Food and Crafts to showcase and promote Irish products in one of the busiest tourist site and holiday site in the country. 

The Brockagh Resource Centre in Laragh is an ideal place to launch the market with indoor and outdoor area, large car park and most importantly a local community contacts.

We will attract the best in Irish Food and Crafts starting with over 20 stalls to include Barrista Coffee from Mcabes Wicklow roasters NewtownMountKennedy,  handmade chocolates,  Irish artisan cheese with a large selection Mediterranean olives, sugarloaf bakery sourdough bread, Birds and Teas handmade jams and chutneys, organic fruit and vegetables stall,  local baked goods and savouries, artisan Italian pasta , street food , local nursery,  lots of local craft stalls. 

Starting Sunday 13th February and thereafter every Sunday 11 am to 4 PM.

Active Retirement Laragh

Active Retirement Group will be resuming their weekly Tuesday morning meetings on the 8th February 2022 for Tea/Coffee, light exercise and a catch up from 11am – 12pm at the Brockagh Centre.

Active Retirement group meets every Tuesday morning from 11am – 12pm in the Brockagh Centre. So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa and some light exercise, dancing and music come along on Tuesdays. We always welcome new members to join our group. This year we’d like to encourage anyone who loves arts & crafts, maybe you’ve learned new skills over the Covid break and would like the space to practice and share your skills with other members, come along and join us. Happy Days Parent and Toddler Group

Back on Wednesday mornings 11-12pm at the Brockagh Centre on Feb 9th of February. This group is for parents/guardians, babies and toddlers who get together for a chat and play(cost 3€ per family). Laragh Badminton Club 

Badminton classes are in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh with  Monday evenings: Mondays 4th, 5th and 6th class at 7.30-8.30pm. Thursdays 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Secondary 7.30-8.30pm.
