Table Quiz for Laragh Christmas Tree Lighting Event
It’s getting back to that time of year and it has been a long time since we have been able to hold a fundraising event and we hope you can all come out to support.
The table quiz will be held in Lynhams of Laragh on Friday October 21st at 8pm with a raffle on the night. Table of four people at €40. Any enquiries contact Collette on 086 607 3700.
Bright Stars Baby & Toddler Group

Laragh GAA
Huge congratulations to our fantastic u11 team who defeated Éire Óg Greystones to claim the trophy at the weekend’s finals in Balinakill C.O.E. It was an end to end game from start to finish with the best of skills on the display form across the pitch, scoring 44 points in a final is no mean feat!
It was clear to see what it meant to this team at the full time whistle, utter joy! When Aodh Kennedy, our captain lifted that trophy it was like their All Ireland final!
A big thanks must go out to the coaches, Ger, Tommy, Martina, Pat and Ray for their time and dedication all year, they really are a credit to the club. Thanks to the parents and supporters of the team for cheering them on all year!
Another thanks goes out to McCoy’s Laragh for sponsoring some energy drinks for the team, very important on a lovely day in Ballinakill.
Hopefully it’s only the start of the trophy haul for our club this season!!
Tae kwon-Do for Youths and Adults

Brockagh Market & Car Boot Oct 8th
Shopping made easy on Oct 8th at the Brockagh Market & Car Boot which is once a month on the 2nd Sun(except Jan/Feb). Open to the public from 10am to 3pm.Tea, coffee and food snacks are available. Indoor and outdoor stalls with a variety of items for sale with plenty of bargains from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, aloe vera products, artwork, tools, household items etc. Free parking and customer toilet facilities.

Holistic Self-Defence Class
A self-defence course facilitated by Dara Clear, who has been practicing martial arts for 30 years will be starting in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on Oct 25th, Nov 1st, 8th and 15th from 6:30-8:30pm.
Practical and holistic approaches to self-protection will be taught across the 4-night course. No prior experience necessary. Book early as places are limited. To book contact Dara at 089 226 8851(deposit required).
New Zumba Class
Coming to the Brockagh Resource Centre in Laragh on the 14th of Sept, 7pm to 7.45pm. Walk in class, no need to book.
Brockagh Christmas Market
Our very popular and successful Christmas Market is back on Sunday 4th Dec 2022 from 10am to 3pm. As always, there will be a great selection of gifts, crafts, baking, jewellery, art, and beauty products etc.. Making your Christmas shopping experience a pleasure. Active Retirement
Active Retirement Group meet every Tuesday 10.45am – 12pm at the Brockagh Centre. So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa and some light exercise, dancing and music come along on a Tuesday morning. We’d like to encourage anyone who loves arts & crafts or any other hobby, maybe you’ve learned new skills and would like the space to practice and share your skills with other members, come along and join us. We always welcome new members to join our group. We are already busy planning upcoming activities, Xmas shopping trip and even our Xmas party. We have our Christmas Tea Dance on Sunday 20th November 3pm – 6pm in the Brockagh Centre & music by The Wicklow Man.
