Race Night in Aid of Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa

Come and enjoy a night at the races in Lynhams of Laragh on Friday 15th March. Starting at 8.30pm. Brockagh Market & Car Boot

Our next event is on Sunday, March 10th. Come shop indoor and outdoor with a variety of items for sale with plenty of bargains from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, aloe vera products, artwork, tools, household items etc.  You might be a keen bargain hunter or enjoy browsing for affordable gifts. Open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available.

Spring Planting

We have been planting some potted bulbs around the village recently to add colour to the beds. Please join us for planting and litter picking on Saturday, March 2nd from 10am to 11am. Meet opposite Lynham’s in the morning. Everyone is welcome. If there are any minors attending, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. National Tree Planting Week

National Tree Week takes place from Sunday 3rd March to Sunday 10th March 2024 with the theme ‘Planting Trees for A Greener Future’. Tidy Towns have been working with ReWild Wicklow already to plant native in our area supporting biodiversity and we hope to plant much more in the coming weeks.

Informational Talk for Active Retirement Group Laragh

Annette Burke (Occupational Therapist) and Kate Cowell (Wicklow Dementia Advisor) will be giving an informative session for people with dementia and other memory issues and their families, at the Brockagh Resource Centre on Tuesday 12th March at 11am. They will be giving advice and information on memory, brain health and practical ways to help memory. Tea/Coffee afterwards, all are welcome.

Our Active Retirement Group meet every Tuesday 10.45am – 12pm at the Brockagh Centre.  So if you fancy a chat, a cuppa, some light exercise, dancing and music come along on a Tuesday morning. Our shared working space is located in the the heart of county Wicklow with panoramic views of the stunning Glendalough Valley. Free parking, free tea/coffee facilities and lift access.
