CIE Tours Awards of Excellence
CIE Tours presented its annual Awards of Excellence on 6 February 2024 and we’re delighted to announce that Glendalough Visitor Centre, Kilmainham Gaol Museum, Dublin Castle, Ionad an Bhlascaoid – The Blasket Centre, Dún Aonghasa, and Donegal Castle were honoured as Merit Winners. Merits are awarded to hotels and tourists attractions that achieved a customer satisfaction rating of 92% or higher – an outstanding achievement!! Well Done to all the staff on this extraordinary accomplishment.
Laragh and Glendalough Tidy Towns
We are thankful for the sunny cold day and the great work done by all our volunteers helping out last Saturday.
Laragh bridge was cleared, bulbs planted in the village centre and at the Beechwood entrance, bags of rubbish lifted and climbing roses with hawthorn planted up a fence at the back of houses in the village centre(encouraging biodiversity). There is such a large deer population in this area we have to safeguard plants with wire and we are mindful of what to plant and what the deer like to eat.
Every effort is made to keep our community tidy and our young Junior Tidy Towns are brilliant at helping us out, making them aware of the work done for better community life and environment. Thank you all.
Brockagh Market & Car Boot
Our next event is on Sunday, March 10th. Come shop indoor and outdoor with a variety of items for sale with plenty of bargains from gifts, clothes, plants, books, toys, aloe vera products, artwork, tools, household items etc. You might be a keen bargain hunter or enjoy browsing for affordable gifts. Open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and food snacks are available.

Taekwon-Do at Laragh
Laragh Taekwon-Do is running the fantastic ITF Kids Development Program for the 4s to 8s, it covers topics such as physical skills, mind skills, independence skills, nutrition awareness and of course Taekwon-Do Skills. The program also has three extra modules namely Danger Awareness, Stranger Awareness and Bullying Awareness.
We also run the full International Taekwon-Do Federation syllabus including pattern, sparring, power and special technique for our 10s upward and teenagers.

Bright Stars Baby & Toddler Group
Why not come along to our baby and toddler group on Wednesday mornings at 10.30am. Each week this group will provide a welcoming and lively space for parents and children to gather and grow. Our activities will include ‘messy play’, story and song, games (guest speakers), snacks, tidy-up and new equipment which will allow both you as the parent/carer and your child to meet friends, explore new things and learn. For some parents, grandparents and carers, the weekly catch-up and opportunity for children to play and make new friends is enough. For others, the support makes them that bit more confident in their parenting role. Cost €4.50 per family. Call us on 0404 45600 if you have any questions about the group.

We have a mixture of Hot Desks, Dedicated (Weekly/Monthly) Desks, Pod and Meeting rooms available with High Speed Broadband Connection. Our shared working space is located in the the heart of county Wicklow with panoramic views of the stunning Glendalough Valley. Free parking, free tea/coffee facilities and lift access.
